Charlotte Crosby has said that she has “caught the bug” for having babies and “can’t wait” to have another after giving birth 10 weeks ago.
The Geordie Shore star welcomed her first child, Alba, in October of last year, and she is the happiest she has ever been.
But the 32-year-old isn’t about to put a stop to new adventures anytime soon, revealing that she’s eager for another child with lover Jake Ankers – and marriage.
‘I already can’t wait to have another baby. I’ve got the bug now!’ she told OK Magazine, before she confessed Jake ‘already knows the ring design and my finger size, he just needs to ask the question!’.
This comes as Jake, a businessman, enters the spotlight with his star girlfriend in their documentary series, Charlotte in Sunderland, which will follow the new parents as they navigate life.
The actress appears to be adjusting well to her new role as a mother, admitting that she is the calm one in the relationship, while Jake is occasionally frustrated with parenting details like car seats.
But being parents has brought them closer together, with the singer admitting that she has ‘never loved him more’.
Charlotte said that she’d had the best ‘January ever’ when the couple met in January 2022.
The infant arrived at a very tragic period in Charlotte’s life, as her grandmother, Alba’s namesake, died immediately after her birth in November of last year.
Charlotte shared this sentiment on her Instagram alongside a photo of baby Alba, when she wrote: ‘EVERYTIME I look at my beautiful little Alba Jean and I say her name I’m reminded of my amazing nana. This little girl has been the biggest shining light in this time for me and my family ❤️😍🥰 on my saddest days she makes me smile and that’s just too special not to share with you all….’

According to Charlotte, the process of becoming a mother has ‘100%’ altered her.
Aside from the obvious maturation that comes with parenthood, Charlotte startled admirers when, after a nearly decade-long love affair with lip fillers, she had them removed before the arrival of her child.
‘I did not get my lips dissolved because of trolls because, quite frankly, I’ve been trolled for so long about them, and I didn’t care,’ the Geordie explained on Nova Podcast’s Charlotte Crosby: Always On.
Instead, Charlotte, with her characteristic sense of comedy, wondered if her daughter could even see her making ridiculous noises and playing with her ‘behind those humongous lips,’ so they had to leave.

Charlotte has had her fair share of appearance trolls over the years, but she’s become accustomed to them.
Charlotte said in 2021 on her podcast Values and Vibrators, ‘If I had a pound for every time someone told me my lips were too big, you know what, I’d be s**ting money.’
Back in December, the TV personality uploaded clips of her post-pregnancy exercise routine and told her fans she felt ‘unfit and out of shape’ but was determined not to feel ‘ashamed’.
Charlotte believes it’s difficult not to be impressed by her body’s ability to create a complete human being.
‘The human body is an incredible thing,’ she says.
