Cheryl celebrated her 40th birthday on Saturday and shared a few images of the lavish celebrations.
The former Girls Aloud actress took her closest friends away to a luxurious resort in Suffolk, where they indulged in glamping, woodland feasts, rowing boat excursions, and champagne aplenty.
Cheryl also shared her happiness with her three million Instagram followers, saying, ‘When your 40th mirrors your inner sentiments… absolute peace and quiet with all the things and people I love.’
If peace and quiet were Cheryl’s order of the day, she definitely selected the appropriate venue to ring in the milestone birthday: Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk (where the photographs were shot) prides itself on its ‘breathtaking natural beauty’ and ‘calm and stillness’.
Wilderness Reserve, which spans 8,000 acres, describes itself as a “playground full of extraordinary adventures,” and features a Grade II listed manor house, as well as thatched cottages and a 15th-century barn.
Cheryl posted photographs of her birthday on Instagram Stories as well as her grid, stating, ‘So… this is 40.’
Thousands of followers, unsurprisingly, swarmed to the post to wish her a happy birthday.
Among those wishing her well on the milestone birthday was beauty influencer Jake Jamie, writing: ‘Happiest 40th Birthday Cheryl! Wishing you a year ahead filled with so much love, health and happiness xxx’
Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison wrote: ‘Happy birthday beautiful girl ♥️.’
Nine Zero One salon owner Riawna Capri added: ‘APPY BIRTHDAY QUEEEEN! Misss you sooooo much! ❤️❤️❤️’
Earlier this year, following her farewell concert, the mother of one thanked her 2:22 A Ghost Story co-stars in an emotional and beautiful message.
What was your most memorable birthday? Now is the time to comment.
Cheryl had received excellent reviews after taking on the part of Jenny in the frightening show in January, but she has now completed her run at London’s West End’s Lyric Theatre.
Cheryl stated she will be ‘forever thankful’ in an Instagram post with co-stars Louise Ford, Scott Karim, and Jake Wood, who portrayed Lauren, Sam, and Ben, respectively, as well as a shot with the entire cast.
