You’d think John Legend and Chrissy Teigen would throw a wild celebration after renewing their wedding vows, right?
The famous pair, on the other hand, had a very different experience.
John and Chrissy proved they’re still the legendary couple we know and love by renewing their vows with some fun in the bedroom – no, not that type, but rather Italian cuisine and The Office in bed… living the dream!
The All Of Me singer, 44, and TV actor, 37, celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary in style this weekend, renewing their vows in a beautiful ceremony near Lake Como.
John and Chrissy first married on September 14, 2013, in the same location, so it seemed only fitting that they return after a decade of marriage.
A source told People: ‘It was very romantic. They arrived by boat. It was breathtaking to see them still so happy together.’
Following that, the couple reaffirmed their vows and spent time with their guests.
‘[John and Chrissy] came out onto a balcony and greeted all the guests. [John] also held a brief speech later, after the dinner,’ the insider shared.
‘There was dancing and there was a lakeside bar that was a big favourite. The food was appreciated.’
The insider also observed that there were ‘flowers everywhere’ on their big day.
‘It’s been a very elegant, very classic event,’ they added.
Following their lavish do, Chrissy shared a snap of their bedroom antics – but not the kind you might think.
The model posted an Instagram Story with a laptop playing The Office and dishes of Italian food.
They finished up their glam weekend with a feast of pasta, pizza, tomatoes, and cheese.
Earlier this year, John revealed details of their marriage, saying that Chrissy’s sense of humour is her most appealing quality.
Chrissy, the award-winning musician, makes him giggle “all the time.”
‘It’s probably obvious, but she makes me laugh all the time,’ he said on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
‘It just changes your whole world when you have somebody around you that makes you laugh. It makes every experience – even when you go through the worst things, when they have a sense of humour, it just makes life better.’
John, on the other hand, was unsure what Chrissy liked about him.
He said: ‘I take good care of her. I like to cook for her, even though she’s obviously the one with food credentials that I don’t have. But I like to cook for her, I like to take care of her, pamper her, and make some romantic gestures. She probably likes that.’
