Daisy May Cooper has revealed that she gave birth to her third child early during a’scary’ childbirth.
In an Instagram post, the This Country star shared a video of herself seeing her newborn in what appeared to be a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
The 37-year-old was taken to see her son in an incubator before inserting her right arm through a hole in the side to gently caress him.
In her remark, she revealed her baby’s lovely name and wrote: “What a bloody week…”
‘You came a bit earlier than we expected and gave me the worst post op constipation that I nearly had to phone the samaratins but my god you are perfect.
‘I cannot thank @deliverysuitegrh enough. The way you looked after us through such a scary time was above and beyond. You are all bloody superstars. I am so blessed.
‘Welcome to the world little Benji, ya nutter. Born 06/06/24.’
Daisy was photographed shopping for baby items in March of this year, looking incredibly loved-up with her partner, Bristol-based artist Anthony Huggins.
She previously married Will Weston, with whom she had two children: a daughter and a son, born in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
The couple’s split was first revealed in July 2021, ten months after their son was born.
Daisy has received numerous messages of congratulations and support after the birth of her third child.

Theatre star Carrie Hope Fletcher wrote: ‘Congratulations!!!! Welcome to the world Benji!’
Former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore shared: ‘Sending love to you all. Congrats x,’ while This Morning host Dermot O’Leary added: ‘Congrats!!! X.’
More celebrities including Stacey Dooley, Clara Amfo and Holly Willoughby also offered their congratulations.
Daisy posted a series of updates on her Instagram Story leading up to the birth of her son, including a few of photographs of herself in the hospital bed.
The first image showed the actress lying down and looking at the camera, with a tube in her mouth.
In the second, she mustered enough energy to raise her middle finger.
Later, she shared photos of herself and her partner cuddling their newborn kid while a breathing tube was hooked to his nose.
‘Telling him about the new JLo documentary and how Ben Affleck and JLo were a thing in 2014,’ she wrote playfully in one caption.
Daisy and her brother Charlie Cooper co-starred in the mockumentary-style sitcom This Country from 2017 to 2020.
The twins also co-wrote the show, which won a number of prizes, including Bafta TV and Royal Television Society prizes.
She participated as Otter on The Masked Singer UK last year and was eliminated in the sixth week.
She has also served as Team Captain on the panel show Never Mind The Buzzcocks since 2021.
