David Beckham has demonstrated his very excellent pancake-tossing talents, proving that he is just as brilliant with his hands as he is with his feet.
He did, however, miss one that fell on his chest, and it was all recorded on video.
On Tuesday evening, aka Shrove Tuesday – or Pancake Day – the former footballer got busy in the kitchen with his two favourite women, wife Victoria Beckham and daughter Harper, on hand to watch his flipping excellence.
David, 47, appeared confident as he tossed his enormous pancake in the frying pan multiple times, even giving the camera a sly smile as he aced it every time, making full use of the vast kitchen of their London home.
Victoria, 48, stayed out of the action and was content to shoot behind the camera, stating, ‘So it’s Pancake Day and David is chucking away. That’s outstanding; he’s a natural at chucking.’
Clearly able to multitask, David then asked his spouse while continuing to toss: ‘Darling, what do you want on your pancake?’
David then held up a jug of syrup, causing the former Spice Girl to jest cheekily: ‘I love me some sticky stuff. ‘You’re such a coin tosser.’
But, the former Manchester United hero ruined his perfect record in another video when he flipped the pancake over his chest instead, with Victoria seen in the background laughing as he walks away.
Still, he bragged in the caption: ‘Told you I Still got it @victoriabeckham ⚽️ 🥞 #Pancakeday 💛.’
Harper, their youngest, couldn’t resist competing in the flipping contest with her father and did a very good job until she crumpled one in the pan.
‘What can I say… she takes after me!’ Victoria laughed.
It’s been a busy week in the Beckham household as their son Cruz has been celebrating his 18th birthday.
Their third kid went to the bar with dad David and older brother Romeo, 20, and proudly enjoyed his first legal pint.
