David Tennant and his wife Georgia Tennant had a significant excursion this week, which they documented.
What was the name of that adventure? A trip to Morrisons is in order.
David, the Doctor Who star, doesn’t have his own social media, so when he shows on Georgia’s, even if it’s only a passing allusion, fans go crazy.
(For example, Georgia’s wonderfully humorous birthday letter to their youngest daughter Birdie, which featured an open admission about her relationship with David and her love of alcohol.)
So, unsurprisingly, viewers enjoy the husband and wife team documenting their crazy trip to the new Morrisons… or, rather, Georgia’s decision, since David appears perplexed throughout that they’re filming their weekly shop.
In a series of videos posted to Instagram Stories, David, driving into the Morrisons car park, asks exasperatedly: ‘You’re actually filming a trip to Morrisons?’

‘I’m not dressed for this,’ he sighed, pulling an incredible face when asked if he’s excited and insisting ‘we’re much more interesting than this.’

Georgia wasn’t the only one with a camera out when the Broadchurch actor was noticed by several people in the shop, including staff members, and politely stopped for photos with fans.
Georgia was left to do her shopping alone, initially video the admirers around David before straining to put the heavy shopping bags back in her cart and stating, ‘don’t worry, it’s all okay.’
Leaving the shop, she asked David what he made of their big trip, to which he replied: ‘I can’t believe you’re still doing this.’

Pressed for a review on their first trip to this particular Morrisons, he relented: ‘The staff were very friendly, that’s my review.’
While David made it obvious that he was uninterested in the video-documented journey throughout, even while smiling warmly at Georgia, fans of the actors were considerably more on Georgia’s side.
One person took to Twitter, aka X, where they wrote they ‘really enjoyed the blog of Georgia and David Tennant going to Leamington Spa Morrisons,’ while another pleaded for more ‘Celebs in Supermarkets’ content.

Another declared the video a ‘f*****g masterpiece,’ with one labeling it ‘better than any reality TV I’ve ever seen’ – while one emotional fan said the video made them want ‘to have a relationship like theirs.’
And as one put it: ‘Petition for Georgia and David Tennant to start their own vlog channel because Georgia’s Morrisons insta story was weirdly entertaining. I’d actually sit and watch it.’
Georgia previously made fans of the Staged couple laugh when she wished their daughter a happy fourth birthday with a clever – and honest – greeting.
Birdie, four, Doris, eight, Wilfred, ten, and Olive, twelve, are the couple’s children, as is young actor Ty Tennant, 20, whom David adopted when he and Georgia married in 2011.
Georgia said on Instagram in October to wish their youngest daughter a happy birthday, ‘Oh [Birdie], you are the finest drunken accident anybody has ever had.
‘I thank my lucky stars every day that I have no self control when it comes to wine or your father.’
