Talulah Riley, Elon Musk’s ex-wife, confirmed her engagement to Love Actually actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster.
The 37-year-old has been dating the 33-year-old British actress for two years and announced their engagement on Thursday.
The St Trinian’s actress posted a photo of the couple on Elon’s Twitter account, along with a note informing followers of their joyful news.
Alongside the picture, she said: ‘Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!’
Fans swarmed to express their well wishes to the pair and congratulate them on their upcoming nuptials.
One typed: ‘Congratulations! I wish the couple much happiness.’
Another wrote: ‘Congratulations, great couple!,’ while a separate social media account noted: ‘Congratulations to you both! May you have many happy years ahead together as 1 [sic].’
Elon himself reacted to the news, which he learned on his own website, replying ‘Congratulations!’ along with a red heart.
Thomas also took to Instagram where he shared a sweet snap of him and Talulah taking a gondola down a canal, both looking relaxed and sunkissed.
He wrote: ‘Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged.’
In a truly brilliant throwback to Love Actually, he added: ‘Love is all around.’
The actors reside in a grade two listed manor house in the countryside and recently had a night out together at the star-studded London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse on Wednesday.
As they left the famous hangout, Talulah was seen wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger and holding arms with her new fiance.
She was previously dated Matthew Rice before beginning a serious relationship with the Maze Runner star, which apparently ended abruptly.
According to a MailOnline source: ‘Talulah and Matthew were on-off for a long time, but it seems that romance fell by the wayside to make room for Thomas.
‘Talulah was dating Matthew right up until the spring, and he’s still a little shocked and saddened it has all ended between them.’
The actress was also married to Elon Musk, the founder of PayPal and Tesla, whom she married in 2010.
Despite barely being married for two years, they separated soon after but remarried in 2013 before splitting up again in 2016.
At the time of their separation, the now Twitter owner said: ‘We took some time apart for several months to see if absence makes the heart grow fonder, and unfortunately it did not.’
