During her pregnancy, Emily Atack has disclosed that she is expecting a son. This will be her first child.
During her appearance on BBC Breakfast on Tuesday, the television personality, who is 34 years old, disclosed, in an unplanned moment of vulnerability, that she will be giving birth to a son in just a few weeks.
During the month of April, the Inbetweeners star and her partner, Dr. Alistair Garner, are expecting their first child together.
During her appearance on the programme, the actress discussed her advocacy for changing laws regarding sexual consent not only for men but also for women.
She went on to say that although she had no intention of coming forward with any information regarding the matter on television, she is aware that her child is a boy and she has high hopes that the campaign will be beneficial to his future.
She added: ‘So I want him to be a part of a really positive change and I want him to grow up knowing he can talk about these things openly and enjoy his life. I want him to be on the right side of history.’
Emily is campaigning with Right To Equality who aim to tighten the laws around sexual consent.
