She wrote alongside the sweet picture: ‘Yesterday we were blessed with the sunshine and being surrounded by (almost) everyone we love. A day early celebration for @mattjwillis turning 40.
‘I love you babe, you blow me away every single day with your spirit, strength and determination. Here’s to living every day to the max together, always… [sic].’
Friends and admirers wished the Busted star a happy birthday and expressed their best wishes beneath the post.

A fan typed: ‘Happy Birthday Matt, welcome to 40 glad you all had a fab time xx [sic].’
The posture was inspired by Matt’s addiction documentary, which broadcast on the BBC and exposed the musician’s issues with substance misuse, as well as the pressure it had on his relationships.
Matt has been in and out of rehab four times in the previous two decades, most recently in 2016 during the reunion tour of his band Busted.
While his youngest kid, Trixie, was 10 months old, he acknowledged to being addicted to the class A substance cocaine.
‘After one of our gigs, someone gave me a line of coke, and I was like, ‘Oh, cocaine wasn’t an issue for me, beer was my downfall,’ the performer claimed in the new documentary.
‘Within a month I was doing six grams on my own every f**king day and not coming home until three in the morning pretending I was working on an album, which I wasn’t really writing, I was making s**t music in the studio doing coke.’
‘I was the maestro at gaslighting, making her think she was nuts,’ Matt revealed to The Guardian.
‘I’m so ashamed of that, and I never want her to feel like that again.’
Emma and Matt married on July 5, 2008, and they have three children: Isabelle, 13, Ace, 10, and Trixie-Grace, six.
