Ethan Slater’s estranged wife has targeted Ariana Grande amid rumours of their growing romance.
Following her divorce from her husband, Dalton Gomez, the Save Your Tears singer, 30, is apparently seeing her Wicked co-star.
According to reports, the Spongebob SquarePants star filed for divorce from wife Lilly Jay this week, ending their four-year marriage.
Although he has not talked publicly about his divorce, Lilly, who gave birth to their baby in August, has stated that her only attention is on caring for their child.
‘[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl,’ she told Page Six. ‘My family is just collateral damage.’
Speaking to DailyMail.com, she added: ‘I am focused on rebuilding a life for our son and rebuilding a life for him.
‘This is what I am trying to do and this is my only focus.’
The former couple had been dating for ten years before marrying in 2018, with Lilly giving birth to their first child last summer.
Last December, Ethan moved to London to film Wicked with Ariana, who was still married to Dalton.
Pictures of the couple appearing close on set have lately emerged, as have images of them looking cosy at a cast dinner.
The Scream Queens actress reportedly spent time with the exes during filming, and even liked Ethan’s Instagram dedications to Lilly on social media.
According to Us Weekly, the dad-of-one informed his estranged partner of his new relationship days before things became public knowledge.
‘Ethan sat Lilly down a few days before the news broke about him and Ariana and said that he wanted a divorce,’ an insider claimed.
‘Lilly never saw it coming.’
According to a contradicting source, Ariana and Ethan “were split when they started dating and the relationship is new.”
According to reports, the new mother was distraught since her family had been torn apart.
She is said to feel that her ex abandoned his family for the affair, which allegedly began “several months ago.”
Ariana has not responded to the allegations, and Ethan has now made his Instagram account private.
