Chris Hemsworth’s latest gym session video received a bit more attention than he would have expected.
Fans were not impressed with the Australian actor’s squats, press-ups, or even his abs.
The 39-year-old’s, er, bulge, to put it gently, had his fans staring at their screens.
In a series of wonderfully hilarious comments, admirers seized the opportunity to express their admiration for the Australian.
Alongside the video post, in which the Thor actor jumps, squats, boxes, boasts some impressive press-ups, pull-ups and, er, other gym stuff, he wrote: ‘Good little session. Finishing it strong with some core 💪.’
Fans, however, ignored his defined physique, didn’t comment how fantastic his hat looked on backwards, and didn’t notice his technically beautiful forms.
Everything was looking very regular, even admirable, until Chris dropped down on the floor for some ‘core’ – whatever that is – and pulled his leg up to display his crotch outline in full force.
‘Are seeing what I’m seeing?’ asked one of Chris’ 56.4million followers, while another said, ‘Are we seeing it or just ignoring it?’
It appears no one was ignoring the big it, as others made several, really very good, jokes about Thor’s hammer.
‘Watched it multiple times…’ began one person, ‘that last exercise I swear I could see Thor’s hammer.’
‘So they let you keep the hammer?’ asked another.
Of course, the Marvel actor is used to staying in shape, having played the Norse god Thor in countless blockbusters over the years.
This comes as the actor is said to be stepping away from the profession after being diagnosed with ‘high risk’ Alzheimer’s disease.
However, insiders suggest that, while the actor is eager to take on less work, he is not considering retiring early.
Chris has been married to Snakes on a Plane actress Elsa Pataky (unlucky, people), 46, since 2009.
The couple has three children: India, 10, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, all nine.
