Esme Bianco, who plays Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, has settled a federal case against Marilyn Manson, in which she accused him of physical and psychological abuse.
Earlier in 2019, the now-40-year-old woman came forward as a survivor of abuse when she appeared before the California Assembly to help amend domestic violence legislation. She did not, however, name her alleged abuser at the time.
Bianco said that Manson, whose true name is Brian Warner, had caused her to suffer from PTSD and wrecked her career in the same year.
The 54-year-old actor was called a “monster who almost ruined me and almost wrecked so many women” by the actress in an interview with The Cut.
Famous for her role as Ros in three seasons of Game of Thrones, Bianco met Manson in 2005 through Von Teese, who was then Manson’s partner, like Von Teese, Bianco is a burlesque performer.
The case, filed in federal court in Los Angeles in 2021, claims Bianco was trafficked to the United States from England by Manson (real name Brian Warner) between 2009 and 2011 for parts in music videos and films that never materialised.
Jay Ellwanger, Bianco’s attorney, wrote in an email, “Bianco has settled her case against Manson and his record company so that she may go on with her life and career.” NME acquired a copy of the statement.
During their long-distance romance, Bianco claims that the Beautiful People singer bit her without her permission.
Bianco claims Manson started controlling her wardrobe and sleeping schedule after she left her husband and relocated to Los Angeles to be with him in 2011.
Bianco stated that on one occasion, Manson “repeatedly slashed her torso with a knife,” adding, ‘ I just remember laying there, and I didn’t fight it. It was kind of this final-straw moment where I had lost all sense of hope and safety.’
Ashley Walters, the rock star’s alleged mistreated personal assistant, claims she received a photo of the wounds from Manson.
The singer was accused of turning a small glass voice booth in his West Hollywood apartment into a ‘cell,’ according to a shocking revelation published by Rolling Stone magazine in November 2021.
Manson has disputed all allegations, saying his interactions “have always been fully consensual” and calling the charges “horrible distortions of truth.”
