Gemma Collins revealed her future ambitions to have children and stated she isn’t concerned about getting older.
When asked about parenting, the 42-year-old said she didn’t need a surrogate since she had ‘the greatest physicians going’ and that she still wanted to conceive naturally.
The TOWIE actress also said that she has PCOS and cannot predict when she will become pregnant.
Gemma was visiting the RHS Chelsea Flower Show when she was asked about her future plans and if she intended to have children.
She told OK magazine in answer to their questioning about surrogacy: ‘I don’t think I’ll need to.
‘I’m The GC, honey. I can have the best doctors going. I’ll just ring one up and say, “Right, come on, get me pregnant!”’
The reality TV star went on to clarify her current view on childlessness, saying she knew she wasn’t ready to be pregnant when she was younger.
Gemma shared: ‘Obviously, I’ve got PCOS and all of that. I could have a child at 50.
‘If I’d had kids sooner, I would probably have been crazy, whereas now, I’m Miss Organic, I can just be at Zen with the child.
‘Going to the mother and toddler groups never interested me, unless it’s Knightsbridge, darling.
‘And I’m happy to host my own one indoors or around the vegetable patch. A bit of organic pressed champagne!’
Gemma had a miscarriage in 2020 and unfortunately lost another baby in 2012, when the kid was only four and a half months old, after giving birth in her house.
Gemma, who is now engaged to her partner Rami Hawash, confessed she would like to extend her family at some time after becoming a stepmother to Rami’s five-year-old son Tristan.
She continued sharing with the publication: ‘It’s a lot having a kid.
‘It’s a big commitment but it’s also very rewarding. But my life will take me where it’s going to take me. It’s taken me this far and as sure as hell it’s not over yet.’
