Gillian Anderson, the icon that she is, has revealed an incredible present knitted by Tom Daley, and we are in awe.
The Agent Scully actor changed up her usual behind-the-scenes Sex Education photos to show off the unexpected visitor… and Tom.
Gillian, 55, posed with the Olympic diver turned knitting fanatic while holding a big rainbow-colored ‘crocheted willy’.
In the successful show, she plays Jean Milburn, a sex therapist and mother of protagonist Otis, and she has tweeted NSFW photos of different props since the SAG-AFTRA strikes ended.
Tom, 29, had also sewn her a cardigan, which she wore in the last season of Netflix’s sex positive programme, she revealed.
Writing to her 2.7 million followers, Gillian said: ‘Wanted to say a huge huge thank you to the darling @tomdaley for knitting this fantastic jumper (and crocheted willy 🌈) for me to wear for our final season of @sexeducation! 🧶🍆

‘Together we raised just over £12k for @mindcharity, which will be divided amongst 8 local Minds who work with LGBTIQA+ communities. Thank you for your stellar knitting skills Tom and for coming to visit me on set!’
Gillian, who has an estimated net worth of $40 million (£31.5 million), smiled as she proudly held the knitted penis and posed with Tom.
She posted a mirror photo of Tom in the one-sleeved cardigan, which he was wearing while supporting his spouse Dustin Lance Black in court.
The white cardigan with rainbow stripes, on the other hand, did not appear out of nowhere; the British legend had actually asked Tom to knit something for her back in 2021.
Tom’s Olympic poolside knitting won our hearts as he showed how he had honed his talents over the years, even publishing his own patterns and kits.

As he previously stated, ‘I started knitting in the beginning of 2020 and I haven’t stopped.’
Gillian had tweeted the photo of him constructing a tiny British flag snug for his Olympic gold medal when he first showed off his knitting abilities.
‘Congratulations @tomdaley!!! 🥇🎉🍾,’ Gillian wrote. ‘When you have a spare few minutes while conquering the world, how about crocheting Jean Milburn a hat/scarf/honey cup, to wear if we do another @sexeducation season 🧶😉 and then we’ll auction it off for your favourite LGBTQ charity? 😘’
True to her promise, the duo auctioned off the knitted items, generating £12,000 for Mind and distributing the proceeds to eight local organisations.
