We have been blessed with a Girls Aloud reunion … sort of.
This Christmas has seen Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl reunite in one of the most magical places in the world – Lapland, Finalnd, aka the home of Santa Claus.
With just days to go until the man in the red coat travels the world with his reindeer, Sound of the Underground icons Cheryl and Kimberley have treated their kids to an unforgettable trip away.
Kimberley, 41, has three sons with husband Justin Scott: Bobby, seven, Cole, five and one-year-old Nate, and eagerly shared snaps of the children exploring the snow-covered village as they visited the big man himself.
Cheryl, meanwhile, has five-year-old son Bear, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Liam Payne, a former member of One Direction.
The former couple have been adamant about keeping their young son out of the spotlight, however, and have never shared a photo of Bear’s face to social media.
So while Kimberley happily posted adorable snaps of Bobby, Cole and Nate to Instagram, there was no sign of Bear – but he may have simply been keeping away from the public shots.

There were plenty of sweet snaps of the holiday however, including one of pop icons and mums Cheryl and Kimberly huddling up together under the lights of the many Christmas trees.
In the snap, the Love Machine chart-toppers were seen wrapping up warm against the cold, Kimberley in a knitted jumper and white coat, and Cheryl in striking red along with a warm reindeer hat.
Both women have been friends for over 20 years, having been introduced on Pop Stars: The Rivals in 2002, where they formed Girls Aloud along with Nadine Coyole, Nicola Roberts and the late Sarah Harding.

In one photo, Bobby and Cole posed in front of Santa’s cottage, while in another Kimberley played with baby Nate on her knee.
The family of four got a gorgeous keepsake of their magical trip, with Justin pushing Nate in a pram while Kimberley put her arms around their older boys, the group gathered under a sign bearing the words ‘Lapland.’

Kimberley spoke to Metro.co.uk last year where she admitted she had been worried her older sons would ‘lose interest’ in their baby brother but thankfully ended up being ‘obsessed’ with the little one.
The pop star explained: ‘ ‘[Nate’s] delightful, he’s such a happy baby. He’s just slotted into the family unit so well, there is a bit of an age gap between Cole and Nate so I didn’t know if the boys would lose interest after a few months.’
However, she revealed with relief: ‘They’re still totally obsessed with him and made him laugh for the first time yesterday.
‘It’s almost like seeing it with fresh eyes again, almost like having your first.’
Meanwhile, Cheryl has branched out to acting as she’s set to star in West End production 2:22: A Ghost Story, following in the footsteps of the likes of Lily Allen and Laura Whitmore.
The spooky West End show tells the story of Jenny – now played by Cheyl – who believes her new home is haunted, while disbelieving husband Sam is having none of it.
And according to The Sun, Cheryl bagged a massive deal for appearing in the show, and will earn £100,000 by the time the run ends in April.
That brings her to around £1,000 per night when she begins the run on 21 January, with the Fight For This Love singer set to perform up to eight shows a week.
