At a recent concert in Sydney, Harry Styles paused to assist a fan in sharing some joyful news with her family.
On Friday night, he delighted fans with versions of his great singles and completely captured their hearts by volunteering his aid to a female in the audience.
He performed in the sold-out Accor Stadium as part of his Love On Tour set, which has taken America by storm in recent months.
The star’s attention was drawn to a placard raised high above the shouting audience, which he paused to read mid-show.
The poster, created by a fan named Asal, featured the words’my family is all here, help me come out’ scrawled across it.
Harry walked over to the enthusiastic fan and asked her name before reading out her request for the arena.
Granting her desire, he held up his hand for stillness and inquired from his place on stage whether Sydney was ‘ready’.
‘It’s pride isn’t it at the moment,’ he could be heard saying in footage that was posted to TikTok.
He continued joking: ‘Just missed Mardi Gras. Rats! However, Pride!’
‘Can I please get some sparkling coming out music,’ Harry then asked his band that were positioned behind him.
‘What kind of tempo do we want Asal,’ the star posed to the fan who responded with: ‘In the middle, a mid-tempo.’
The band played a slow jazzy beat to which Harry began dancing around the stage before taking a rainbow flag from the floor.
He teased the fans and declared that Asal would ‘be out’ as the flag was down.
He paused his waving of the cloth to ask his band member Paul for more’sparkles,’ who increased the background jingles.
Harry then turned to the audience and said, ‘This is called edging for anyone who isn’t aware,’ which elicited a chorus of screams.
He suddenly threw back his head, let out a shout, and launched the flag into the air, proclaiming his joyful fan out of the closet: ‘Freedom. Let it to fall on you like a giant homosexual shower. Congratulations.’
