Harry Styles appears to have a bright and promising future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The 28-year-old former One Direction member made an appearance as Eros, better known as Starfox, at the end of 2021’s Eternals, and an MCU producer has now claimed the studio wants Harry back.
Producer Nate Moore said this week: ‘There are more stories to be told with the character.’ Anyone else jumping for joy?
Nate continued: ‘We certainly didn’t cast Harry for a tag,’ although the studio exec did admit: ‘Maybe I have too much affection for [that character] because he’s had some problematic runs in publishing.’
‘He has a really interesting connection with Thanos; they’re half-brothers and share the same father. He has an interesting power set,’ Nate added to Deadline.
‘He’s a complicated character, but a really fun character. And I think… having met Harry Styles, he is as charming as you want him to be. And I think there’s no limit to how good that character’s going to be once we get to bring him back.’

Eternals’ director, Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, previously told the publication of casting Harry: ‘It wasn’t like I suggested Eros, and let’s go find actors. I kept tabs on Harry since Dunkirk, I thought he was very interesting.
‘After meeting him I realized he is that character – the same way I cast the rest of my cast.
‘There’s so much of Eros in him. For me, if he says yes and Kevin says yes then it’s a go. And I’m very happy they both did.’
Harry also opened up about his cameo to Dazed in 2021, saying: ‘I’m only in right at the very end. But who didn’t grow up wanting to be a superhero, you know?’
Praising the blockbuster’s director, Harry added: ‘It was a great experience and I’m so grateful to have gotten to work with Chloé.’

It comes after Harry spent a quiet and intimate Christmas with his family in the United Kingdom.
On social media, his mother Anne Twist shared a glimpse of the popstar’s seasonal getaway, which included toasty fireplaces, brisk winter hikes, and a stunning dinner table.
In one Instagram photo, Harry was seen with his long hair pinned back and sunglasses concealing his eyes, while dressed warmly in a sweater and heavy North Face puffer jacket.
He posed with members of his family, including mum Anne, who shot the selfie, and sister Gemma.
Anne also showed off their massive Christmas tree, which stood in the corner of a room next to floor-to-ceiling windows.
On December 15, Harry posted an emotional message to followers reminiscing on his incredible year, and he had already signed off from social media for the year.
‘2022 altered my life,’ the musician said with a black-and-white shot of himself in an arena.
‘I can’t begin to thank all of you who supported me through it, I’ll never forget it. I hope your end of year is filled with happiness and calm.
‘Love you all. See you next year. H.’
