Jack Whitehall and his fiancée Roxy Horner have named their newborn girl, and it has a lovely connotation.
The comedian, 35, and his model girlfriend, 32, had their first kid earlier this month.
Roxy gave birth in St Mary’s Hospital in London, which is frequently frequented by members of the Royal Family.
While they announced that they were expecting a girl, the cute pair has yet to reveal her name.
A spokeswoman for Jack, on the other hand, has verified that her name is Elsie.
They told Mail Online that the new parents deliberated for a long time before settling on Elsie, which means ‘pledged to God.’
A source added to The Sun: ‘Elsie is a gorgeous baby and Jack and Roxy have picked a gorgeous name to fit.
‘Everyone is thrilled.’
Jack and Roxy have been documenting their path towards parenting and entertaining their internet following.
The Brit Awards host made his followers laugh when he tweeted a photo of himself multitasking in epic fashion, changing a nappy while still watching the Arsenal play on his phone.
Alongside the snap, the new dad wrote: ‘This was me watching the injury time of the Arsenal game whilst changing my first ever nappy!’
He then joked about naming his little one ‘Rice Rice Baby’ in tribute to midfielder Declan Rice.
Although, we think Elsie is much nicer…

Following the birth of Elsie, Jack heaped praise on Roxy, who he has been dating for three years.
Taking to social media to announce their happy news, Jack wrote: ‘Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
‘In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever.
‘So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid.’
‘I also wore Skechers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full blown dad now,’ he added.
Roxy expressed her wishes for Jack’s role as a father before giving birth.
‘I know we’ll count on him to constantly make the baby smile and laugh! I hope to be someone our child can always rely on, we just can’t wait for them to be here,’ she said sweetly.

The runway model was also thrilled that their kid will have a strong relationship with her parents, particularly Jack’s father Michael, whom she described as a ‘wonderful’ grandfather.
‘It will be my parents’ first grandchild, and my mother has been knitting so many adorable clothing for our baby that we won’t need to buy anything!’
‘Jack’s parents will be amazing too and I already know this because I’ve seen them with their first grandchild and Jack’s niece Peggy, they are great with her.’
