Jack Whitehall will undoubtedly be an amusing father.
The 31-year-old comic and his partner Roxy Horner have recently had their first child, a beautiful girl, and he’s overjoyed.
But, even though the Bad Education actor just admitted (while wearing skechers to the hospital) that he is now a “full-blown dad,” he isn’t going to let that stop him from enjoying the trip.
Jack just uploaded a picture of himself changing his first nappy while watching the Arsenal game on his phone.
For any football fan parents who are wondering how he managed to do both things at the same time, the Bad Education actor raised up his phone over his tot’s head for the complex manoeuvre.
Alongside the snap – in which Jack looks genuinely intent on watching the match – he wrote: ‘This was me watching the injury time of the Arsenall game whilst changing my first ever nappy!’
To clear up any confusion from his earlier article, Arsenal supporter Jack stated that it was during this game that he recommended naming the tot Rice Rice Baby after player Declan Rice.
Taking to Instagram announcing the happy news yesterday alongside the sweetest family photos, Jack wrote: ‘Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
‘In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever.
‘So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid.
‘I also wore skechers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full blown dad now.
‘Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it.’
In the photographs, the Fresh Meat star appeared overjoyed as he carried the tiny girl in his arms and grinned at the camera.
Another shot showed Roxy on the hospital bed with their baby, as Jack snapped a selfie to commemorate the beautiful event.
In another typically humorous update, Jack tweeted a photo of himself giving a peace sign while dressed in doctor’s scrubs and carrying a leather side bag.
He captioned the snap: ‘Imagine coming into the world and this being the first thing you see. 😬.’
Meanwhile, model Roxy posted a gorgeous snap of her holding the little one, and wrote: ‘The love of my life 💜.’
Roxy earlier predicted Jack’s parenting abilities, suggesting that he would be a ‘wonderful dad’ and provide laughter.
‘I know we’ll count on him to constantly make the baby smile and laugh! I hope to be someone our child can always rely on, we just can’t wait for them to be here,’ she added.
They were romantically linked for the first time in 2020, when they supposedly ended up isolating themselves in London during the first Covid-19 shutdown not long after meeting. How lovely.
