Jeremy Renner has thanked everyone who has offered him messages of encouragement after revealing that he shattered more than 30 bones in a snow plough accident.
On Saturday, the actor, best known for his role as the bow-and-arrow-wielding Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), tweeted a photo of himself receiving treatment in a hospital bed.
‘I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness,’ he wrote.
‘Much love and gratitude to you all.
‘These 30 or so shattered bones will repair and grow stronger, just as the love and bond with family and friends grows stronger.’
