Jessie J has offered a very open update on the birth of her baby, who was born safely a few weeks ago.
The Bang Bang singer, 35, welcomed the child with her basketballer boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman, and she was overjoyed when she discovered she was pregnant after a series of reproductive issues.
On announcing the happy news she’d given birth to a little boy, Jessie took to Instagram and shared with her 13million followers: ‘A week ago my whole life changed. My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size.
‘The feeling is indescribable I am flying in love. He is magic. He is literally all my dreams come true. He is my whole world.
‘He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine.’
She continued: ‘I am so grateful phew *happy tears*. For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support.’

Jessie concluded the post by saying that she will be taking a vacation from social media and would return when she is’ready.’
The delighted mom appears to be ready now, as she recently tweeted frankly about what occurred when her childbirth ‘plan’ went awry.
Although Jessie stated she’d intended on having a ‘natural’ delivery, nine months of preparation was binned when it became evident her boy ‘wasn’t facing the proper way’.
Alongside a video of Price Tag hitmaker incredibly pregnant and dancing around excitedly in a hospital gown, she explained: ‘I spent 9 months prepping for a natural birth.
‘Strict food, the epi no, yoga, swimming, hypnobirthing methods. I had a tens machine, a birthing comb, I wanted a pool birth ideally with no medication.
‘BUT this was MY plan to stay disciplined and focused. I knew full well it could and would most likely go in a completely different direction.
‘When people asked me “So what’s your birth plan,” I said, “I am open to surrendering to the safest way for my baby boy to arrive.”’
But, during her 40-week ultrasound, her baby had different plans, as he was trapped facing the wrong direction, which meant the actress would have to arrange a C-section to pull him out safely.
‘I had a scan at a few days off of 40 weeks and he was completely the wrong way around and stuck as he was a little chunkier than your average and long,’ she explained.
‘I did everything to try and turn him for 2 months but he said, “Nah mum I wanna make an entrance out the roof, not the front door.”
‘I was advised to have a planned C section for the safest birth. This video was taken 5 minutes before I went down to surgery.
‘I went into active labour the night before and feeling all the feels but mostly just excitement for us to meet our baby boy.
‘I guess I’m sharing this because so many people have said “Do you feel like you missed out on the birth you wanted?”
In the end, Jessie explained it was ‘everything’ she wanted, because she had her little boy at the end of it, ‘and that’s all that matters.’
Jessie had a tragic miscarriage in November 2021 and admitted that revealing her pregnancy after that ‘terrified’ her, knowing what she had gone through before.
We’re overjoyed for the Londoner and eagerly await baby name announcements and gorgeous photos in the coming months.
