Jessie J says it’s been ‘interesting’ to see ‘how women are with each other’ as she talks the comments section of her pregnancy announcement.
On Friday, the 34-year-old revealed that she is expecting a child, posting a beautiful montage of her pregnancy thus far.
However, the Price Tag singer seemed to have been taken aback by individuals fighting over their paths to motherhood as she revealed the news.
Taking to Instagram to share her observations, she wrote, ‘The comments on videos about my pregnancy are a completely other experience…’ It’s fascinating to see how women interact with one another.
‘I’ll just say this. Pregnancy is the most relatable but yet the most UNIQUE journey. We all feel it, experience it, and cope with it in our own unique way.’
She went on to say that her supporters should avoid telling each other how they should feel because it’s “simply not the way to do it.”
Jessie continued: ‘I’m not even talking about some of you commenting to me I’m also talking about how you comment to and on each other. Everybody is different. Literally. And every story and journey is different.
‘Pregnancy is not a competition. Pregnancy is not who is doing it better or right because not one way works for everyone.’
Recognising that she has not yet had the full experience of pregnancy, she went on: ‘I can only speak on the first trimester fully and I believe that however s**t or amazing or awful or scary or joyful it is. Gratitude is always there as a given.

‘But we are allowed to feel. We are allowed to do it however WE want. We got this,’ she urged her 12.3million followers.
It seems that Jessie’s statement was as a result of her not being able to sleep due to being with child as she joked in a separate slide, ‘Also my insomnia is real 😂,’ adding a timestamp which showed it was 3:16am where she was writing from.

Jessie also took to Instagram to share a video displaying the honest side of pregnancy, writing: ‘I was warned about that first trimester and it was WOOFY WOOF.’
The video showed the songstress yawning, crying, leaning over bins and resting her head against a sink.
But never one to be all doom and gloom, Jessie was also seen laughing with a friend, pulling funny faces, singing and rubbing her bump.
Fans applauded her honesty, with one writing: ‘This is what I love, no matter what journey you are on you allow us to be a part of it. What a beautiful journey you’re on, it’s all going to be worth it J.’
Another penned: ‘I see you have so much gratitude for this journey!! All so worth it.’
