Jesy Nelson has revealed that she is leaving show business to follow her ambition of travelling.
The 32-year-old joined Little Mix in 2011, and after quitting the band in 2020, she rapidly launched a solo career.
Jesy is ready for a break after all those years of hard labour.
The singer turned to Instagram to inform her followers of the news. Hey folks! wrote she. So, for a long time, I’ve wanted to travel but never got the opportunity.
‘I’ve got some really exciting things coming up with work and my music, but until then I’m gonna take the summer off to travel the world.’
Jesy, have you got room for us in your suitcase?
‘I’m going to be off my social media for a while, I love you all so much and I’ll see you when I’m back.’
Did you really explore the world if you don’t post about it on Instagram? Of course, we’re joking, but perhaps there will be lots of later grammes when she returns to the UK so we can see what she got up to.
Jesy is off to a great start with her travels, having just published a series of images taken in a sunny locale.
She found herself lounging by a private pool, enjoying a BBQ, card games, and the holiday favourite, Fanta lemon.
Although the location was not specified, Jesy chose the caption ‘Buenas Noches’ (Good Night), therefore we’ll infer it was a Spanish-speaking locale. It appears to be wonderful wherever she is.
Jesy hasn’t said who she’ll be travelling with or whether she’ll be travelling alone, but she’s dating musician Zion Foster, 23, and the two appear to be in love.
