Katie Price has been distraught by the death of her pet dog Blade.
The 45-year-old actress revealed she is ‘numb and stunned’ following the death of her pet, whom she described as her ‘protector’ and ‘best friend,’ earlier on Monday.
‘Worlds can’t convey the loss of my best buddy my protector my absolutely everything who unfortunately died away today I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and stunned tear Blade (sic),’ she said on Instagram this afternoon.
During a tough moment for the former beauty model, fans were eager to reply with offers of support.
‘So sorry never easy to lose our fur babies,’ one follower replied, while another commented: ‘Nothing like loosing an animal. Sorry to hear xx’
One other person wrote: ‘Awh Katie I’m so so sorry sending so much love.’

Katie had another sorrow months ago when her dog Sharon was supposedly killed in a vehicle accident.
At the time, it was stated that the Pomeranian rushed out into a busy road near the model’s home and was killed by a car.
While the driver drove the dog to a clinic to be assessed for injuries, she is alleged to have perished as a result of the incident.
According to a source, Sharon’s death was ‘bad luck,’ after the deaths of Price’s pets in recent years.
Sparkle, her Alsatian, died after being hit by a car after stepping out of her home onto a major A road in 2020, as did her dog Queenie, who was ran over by a pizza delivery van, and one of her horses was also killed in a collision.
Her daughter Princess’s pet Rolo reportedly choked to death after being crushed in an electric recliner when left alone a few years ago.
A petition calling for Price to be banned from owning pets previously surpassed 24,000 signatures on Change.org.
