According to reports, Katie Price has hired a fan to be a surrogate for her sixth kid.
The 45-year-old beauty model has been vocal about her hopes to have another child with her on-again, off-again lover Carl Woods, admitting her grief following a failed IVF effort last year.
Since then, the actress has spoken about hiring a surrogate to have her sixth kid, recently told the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast: ‘I have got a surrogate, I haven’t got any eggs anymore, I’m 44, I want another baby so what am I supposed to do? I can’t pop it out.’
More information about Katie’s plans to have another child has emerged, with the celebrity anticipating that her surrogate will have twins and that the entire process would be chronicled in a new reality TV programme.
‘Katie’s signed up a fan of hers to act as a surrogate – this woman has been over to stay at Katie’s house and babysat her kids before,’ a source told The Sun.
‘It’s all back on track now Katie and Carl have reunited. They’re both really excited about it. Katie’s shopping around a reality show again now – she’s burned bridges at a few TV channels but she thinks a show following her surrogacy journey will have fans tuning in.
‘She’s saying that she hopes the surrogate has twins – so Katie’s sixth and seventh children could be here by next year!’
Katie already has five children, including Harvey Price, 21, with footballer Dwight Yorke, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with her ex-husband Peter Andre.
Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, are her other children with her third husband, Kieran Hayler.
Katie refuted divorce reports several times last year before Carl confirmed their split in November, accusing her of cheating on him.
She is said to be considering a ‘behind bars [wedding] ceremony’ after she claimed she would rather go to jail than attend her bankruptcy hearing next month.
The 45-year-old former beauty model has been summoned to court to face £3.2 million in debts and has previously questioned her court appearances, questioning why she wasn’t sent to prison instead.
A source explained to OK magazine: ‘She believes Carl will wait for her on the outside. She thinks people will buy into their “forbidden” behind bars love story.’
‘If that’s not an option then there’s even talk about her and Carl getting married before she’s jailed, so people will root for her more. It’s all about headlines for Katie,’ the insider suggested.
