Katie Price has launched a furious diatribe against her fellow celebs, saying that some are “up their own a**e.”
The 45-year-old former beauty model isn’t renowned for biting her tongue, and after a long career in Hollywood, she’s made a dig at other’snobby’ celebs.
Katie rose to prominence through modelling before pursuing a career in television, participating on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother, and even finishing as a runner-up in the competition for the UK’s Eurovision entry in 2005.
While she has been on a number of reality TV series, Katie has yet to participate on Strictly Come Dancing, which she recently claimed ‘snubbed’ her.
Speaking during a TikTok live in quotes obtained by The Sun, the mum-of-five began: ‘So many celebs are up their own a*******s, because I’ve been around so long.’
She feels that only beginners are likely to have a problem with her, while showbiz veterans treat her better.
‘I think you find people who have newly got fame are more up their a*s but people who have been in the industry a long time are more down to Earth,’ she suggested.
‘But no one ever gives me s**t because they know I’ve been in the industry a long time, so no one is actually horrible to me.’
Katie revealed that despite not being chosen to compete on Strictly this year, she would still give it her all.
‘Strictly, no I didn’t get asked to do Strictly,’ she responded to a fan question. ‘I’ve got two left feet but I could still give it a chance.’
‘I said to my therapist yesterday, he said, is there anything that you feel you need to do that will make me happier.
‘This was at The Priory yesterday, I said for me to run again. I said I’m going to try and run again but he said you can’t because you’ve had life-changing injuries.
‘I don’t know if there is anyone out there like me, but when I’m told that you can’t do something, then I want to do it more and I am going to try and run.
‘My feet have been alright at the minute, I just feel like I have to give it a go.’
Katie had serious injuries while on vacation in Turkey with her children in 2020, shattering both of her feet and forcing her to use a wheelchair for many weeks.
It happened as she was ‘mucking around’ and leaped over a wall at a theme park, not comprehending how high the drop was on the other side.
Her criticism on the BBC and Strictly comes after the cast for this year’s show was announced.
Amanda Abbington, Angela Rippon from Come Dancing, West End performer Layton Williams, and Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas round out the list of 15 celebs.
Zara McDermott from Love Island and entertainment legend Les Dennis are also on the list.
Rehearsals for the 2023 season have already begun, and the celebrities have almost certainly met their professional partners, with the brilliant dance programme returning to our television screens in the autumn.
