Russell Brand’s charges have shone a spotlight on his generally problematic behaviour during the height of his celebrity, including a contact with Katie Price.
Brand has been accused of sexual assault, harassment, and emotional control by multiple women, including a 16-year-old girl, and a second inquiry has been launched against him.
He vigorously disputed the allegations in a video posted on his now-defunct YouTube account, but other celebrities have began to speak out against him and the business as a whole.
Price has given her own uneasy story about the actor-turned-wellness-guru, revealing that the 45-year-old has met Brand ‘a few times’, with her former bodyguard working for the 48-year-old.
She recounted an encounter they had when trapped at an airport together when Price was still with Peter Andre, 50, with whom she split in 2009.
‘We were stuck in LAX airport with him once,’ Price told G2 magazine. ‘He had his girlfriend with him and I was with Pete.
‘He was trying to pull my stylist when his girlfriend was out there standing with her, so to me that says a lot.
‘The truth always comes out in the end.’
Despite this questionable behaviour, the former glamour model added: ‘I thought he was quite a nice guy, actually, quite funny.’
They both appeared on ITV’s Loose Women in 2017, when she sought him for guidance on her then-husband Kieran Hayler, 36.

‘I’ve said to Kieran – you need to go away for two months. And he said, “I’m not going, because I’m not leaving you”. What do I say to that?’ she asked the comedian.
Along with his acting and comedic careers, Brand has established himself as an anti-addiction advocate, having spoken openly about his sex addiction as well as substance misuse concerns.
Hayler apparently also had a sex addiction, which was affecting his relationship with the mother of five; the couple subsequently divorced in 2018.
‘He has to surrender and accept help,’ advised the St Trinian’s actor. ‘You have to tell him he no longer has the right to be in control of the situation after what he’s done to you.

‘Tell him “You need to turn your life around”. You have to be continually tuned in to them because a habit is a tendency.
‘If he’s not working towards his recovery, he’s working towards his addiction. He has to admit you are the other component and as a society, we need to stop propping them up.
‘If it is causing you pain, let go of yourself.’
Impressed by his advice, Price responded: ‘I’m going to. Watch out Kieran!’
The current inquiry into Brand covers allegations of surveillance and harassment after he allegedly formed a friendship with an unnamed lady in 2015.
They are believed to have lived nearby before both accusing the other of harassment, with the police previously investigating her accusations.
The concerns were ignored at the time, but the matter is now being re-examined following a second contact from the lady “with new information in relation to the harassment and stalking allegations,” according to MailOnline.
There have been no arrests, and investigations are ongoing, as Brand returned to his Rumble platform to refute the allegations.
