Katie Price is eager to grow her family, declaring that having another child is a ‘no-brainer’ for her.
The 45-year-old former beauty model made the announcement shortly after ex-husband Peter Andre, 50, announced that he and his wife Emily, 34, are expecting their second child.
Mum-of-five Katie already has a son, Junior, 18, and a daughter, Princess, 16, with the Mysterious Girl singer, whom she was married to from 2005 to 2009.
She also has Harvey, 21, with ex-husband Dwight Yorke, as well as Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
Despite the fact that her house is already chaotic, Katie believes that the more the merrier.
Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she said: ‘I would love another baby or more, that’s just a no-brainer.
‘I’m just very maternal, I love babies.’
Katie also discussed her issues with infertility when she was younger.
‘Try and have them as late as I have. I started young – just remember as you get older it’s not easy,’ she shared.
Katie has previously stated her desire to have additional children in her forties.
She did had intentions to conceive a sixth child through surrogacy with on-again, off-again lover Carl Woods, with rumours that the whole process would be videotaped for a TV programme.
Sadly, the fan Katie had enlisted to carry her kid allegedly ‘dropped out’ in August after feeling ‘disrespected’ by the celebrity, despite Katie’s expectations that carrying twins would give her infants the ages of six and seven.
A source told Mail Online that she felt Katie treated her and her other four kids ‘like s**t’.
‘Katie’s surrogate feels completely let down,’ they said.
‘She sacrificed a lot of time and energy getting to know Katie and verbally agreeing to carry her baby, which is a huge decision.
‘As a fan of Katie’s, this was something that she wanted to do until they finally met in person, and she was treated appallingly.’
Katie and Pete’s children are already following in their famous parents’ footsteps.
Princess has dabbled with fashion influence and modelling in addition to her college academics, collaborating with businesses such as PrettyLittleThing and Shein.
Junior, on the other hand, is a future Pete, pursuing his own music career and gaining chart success with his first two tracks.
Both are prepared for a younger brother when Emily gives birth to her third kid next year – the doctor already has Amelia, 10, and Theo, 6, with Pete.
While Princess praised her father and stepmother on social media, Junior has kept silent despite earlier stating that he didn’t want any more siblings owing to the age difference.
When asked if he’d like to become a big brother again, Junior told The Mirror in a joint interview with Pete in 2021: ‘No, because I think the age gap would be too big.
‘If Emily got pregnant now, that means the baby would be born when I’m almost 17 and I don’t think the same strong bond would be there.
‘I’ll be close to moving out of the house. I want to be the big brother they love so much and not someone they hardly ever see. I have six siblings already so there are quite a few of us.’
