Katie Price has come to the conclusion that men are her biggest ‘triggers’ whenever she experiences challenges in life, after reflecting on her turbulent dating history.
The My Crazy Life star’s current dating status isn’t clear after she split from fiance Carl Woods earlier this month. In social media posts, he accused her of cheating but was then pictured with Katie and her youngest son Jett, nine, sparking rumours they were back together.
Her romance with former Love Island star Carl, 33, came months after her split from fitness trainer Kris Boyson. Prior to that, she was married to former stripper Kieran Hayler for eight years, Alex Reid for two years and singer Peter Andre for four years.
It’s well-documented that Katie, 44, has experienced highs and lows in her personal life and she attributes much of her hardship to her relationships with men.
‘You don’t have to be a genius to work out that men are the downfall in my life. A million per cent,’ she has said in a new interview.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, she added: ‘All my dramas, my bankruptcy — everything is men. Always men. That is it. When you see exes gloat around, knowing you’ve paid for stuff, that’s the worst torment for me.
‘My triggers, when I’ve gone downhill, are men.’
Katie admitted that she’s a ‘sucker for love’ but that she no longer needs ‘validation’ or ‘approval’ from men.
It comes as the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star denied she’s been texting Love Island’s Adam Collard following her split from Carl.
A recent article claimed Adam, 27, was getting close to Katie, with a source saying the pair had been ‘texting’ as he offered her time with him as a personal trainer.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Katie shared a photo of The Sun article and said: ‘Omg don’t know where this has come from but I’m not texting Adam and I’m not texting any man.’
She added she was ‘concentrating on my current situations’, adding the hashtags ‘family’ and ‘self care’.
