Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she will headline her own small Las Vegas residency, and we’re already booking tickets.
The Stronger singer put fans into a tailspin earlier today when she revealed her upcoming project at the Bakkt Theater on Instagram.
‘It’s happening, y’all! I’m so excited to announce that I’m finally heading to Las Vegas for 10 shows this summer,’ the 40-year-old penned.
‘I’ll be singing all of your favorites… and yes, I’ll be singing some new ones, too!’
Kelly will perform between July 28 and August 19; tickets for her Chemistry residency will go on sale on March 31 at 10 a.m. PT.
Unsurprisingly, her admirers were eagerly awaiting the update and showered her with admiration in the comments area.

An Instagram user enthused: ‘TAKE MY MONEY!’
Another agreed: ‘CHEMISTRY??!! I’m soooooo excited!!!!!’
‘Sooooooo excited. Your the best and I have followed your journey since idol cheers to this latest amazing work [sic],’ a fan wrote.
‘That’s amazing. You will be awesome,’ a commenter penned.
While another inquired what everyone was thinking, adding, ‘Does it imply we may hope you’re going on tour?’
Kelly’s trip to Vegas comes three years after she was supposed to begin her residency before the epidemic cancelled all preparations.
Speaking to Billboard of her upcoming performances, which come off the back of album number 10, she said: ‘I wanted to have this moment with my audience with the new music. My last tour was in 2019 so it’s been years for me [since I’ve been able to] sing more than two minutes on TV.
‘It’s nice to be doing a full show. I worked really hard on this record and it took me a while to figure out if I was actually going to put it out. Once I decided, I wanted to sing this live and to feel that energy from the crowd.
‘I didn’t want to do a tour. I have a lot of jobs and also I obviously want to spend some time with my kids this summer so I agreed to do 10 shows.’
Kelly rose to prominence on the inaugural season of American Idol in 2002, when she went on to win the competition.
She has been in the public eye ever since, with a streak of number one albums and songs under her credit, and she has her own talk program, the Kelly Clarkson programme.
She was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year, cementing her reputation as a genuine legend, with former Idol judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson in attendance.
Simon took the opportunity to commend the Piece By Piece singer, telling the crowd: ‘The Kelly you see in front of the camera is the Kelly you see behind the camera…’
‘I didn’t realize at that point how good you were, I just liked you, and I’m so thankful.’
Reflecting on her stunning performance of Respect, he added: ‘We all looked at each other and it was like OMG….
‘You validated what we did. If we didn’t find a star there’s no point in doing these shows. And I could never predict what was going to happen.
‘I can honestly say thanks to you I’m here today, genuinely, I swear to God.’
