Kerry Katona has said she ‘felt like she was going to die’ during a ‘massive panic attack’ just last week.
The former Atomic Kitten singer has opened up about her health fears and revealed how her body ‘has been swollen’ following surgery in 2021.
‘I had a massive panic attack last week. It was the first one I’ve had in a while,’ she revealed.
‘My body has been swollen since I had surgery last year. My whole body is sore and puffy – my legs, my stomach, my face, my neck. I feel like I need popping.
‘I was lying down in bed and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. My throat and chest felt really tight, it was awful. I felt like I was going to die.’
The 42-year-old star shared that she is going to chat to her doctor and is prepared to the hospital if the situation gets any worse.
She added in her column for new! magazine, via OK!, that she ‘suffers from health anxiety’ and is ‘really scared’.
The mum-of-five also said that she is having ‘corrective surgery’ in January after her tummy tuck last year, which she hopes will help with the situation, as well as a ‘small’ eyelid lift too.
Kerry previously revealed on her podcast that she’d been left with two belly buttons.
She told Wheel of Misfortune co-host, comedian Anna Saccone: ‘I had a secret tummy tuck last year. I should never have had it done, and they cut my belly button off.’
Pulling up her top to reveal the surgery, Kerry added: ‘That’s the old belly button, that shouldn’t be there like that.’
The duo then compared it to a warning injury ‘seen on the back of a packet of fags’.
Reality star Kerry also recently shared that she had put on 2.5 stone, which was making her ‘miserable’ – but managed to joke about the upsides of ‘more insulation on my body’ helping to save money on bills during the cost-of-living crisis.
She shares daughters Mollie, 21, and Lilly-Sue, 19 with first husband Brian McFadden, as well as Heidi, 15, and Max, 14, with ex Mark Croft and daughter Dylan-Jorge, eight, with late ex George Kay.
She is currently engaged to fiancé Ryan Mahoney, 34.
