Kim Kardashian‘s choice of wrapping paper perplexed many as she proudly showcased her Christmas decorations.
The mom-of-four is known for her minimalist decorating style, and her efforts became less colourful as she announced her 2023 plans.
In the run-up to Christmas, the 43-year-old pushed many people over the edge when she proudly displayed a mound of gifts beneath one of her numerous large trees, wrapped in clean white Skims cloth.
Just like you.
Although she was evidently thrilled by the unusual wrapping, her army of admirers were not amused and instantly compared it to nappies and bed linens.
Which is most likely not what the Kardashians star was looking for this year…
‘I wanted to show you my wrapping this year,’ Kim said in a new video on her Instagram story, panning the camera across her tree. ‘I used Skims cotton fabric for my wrapping this year.
‘I’m going to reuse it. When everyone opens it, I’m going to take the fabric and use it on stuff that I make for my family.
‘I thought it was a really fun, cool way to just have something that you can use over and over again. I just love the fabric and how it looks, and the technique we used to wrap it. It looks so pretty with my tree.
‘I love how this turned out. Everything wrapped in Skims cotton jersey so we can reuse it. I went with winter white this year because that’s the theme of the winter wonderland.’
Many people didn’t understand Kim’s artistic concept and raced to Reddit to discuss her choice.
‘How do you know who the presents are for,’ one questioned.
‘Kind of reminds me of diapers,’ a follower said.
Another agreed: ‘At first sight I liked it because it was different. Now all I see are diapers.’
‘I’m just trying to imagine me as a child opening a present “wrapped” in a shirt, I think I would’ve thought my mom is crazy LOL,’ a Reddit user penned.
A commenter posted: ‘Not a fan. I’m on the side of a colorful, joyful classical Christmas. Looks like sheets lol.’
‘This might look cool if it was silk or something festive instead of the t shirt fabric… it’s giving bed sheets,’ an unimpressed fan wrote.
As one yelled: ‘HOW DO THEY KNOW WHOSE IS WHOSE??’

Kim has been showing off her Christmas decorations for the previous two weeks, undeterred by all of the Scrooges.
She previously showed us her amazing bathroom setup, which included three shimmering Christmas trees outside the floor-to-ceiling windows.
As if that wasn’t enough, she wakes her children up to holiday music every morning, including live performances by Philip Cornish in their living room.
That puts our usual Mariah rave to shame…
