Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker revealed the gender of their unborn baby in true Kardashian fashion, with drum rolls and lots of PDA.
The 44-year-old has been posting pictures of her baby bulge on Instagram, and she’s now given followers another update on her pregnancy journey.
Kourtney sat on Travis’ knee for the unveiling, as the Blink-182 drummer gave the waiting audience of family members to an anticipation-building drum roll.
Kourtney donned a skintight white shirt and leggings to show off her baby bump, while Travis, 47, matched his wife’s outfit with a white tank top and black beanie cap.
The couple kissed long and passionately before a last crash of cymbals and blue confetti was launched into the air, signifying that they were expecting a boy.
It’s unknown if either Kourtney or Travis knew about the sex before the news was revealed to their thrilled family members, but Kourtney and Travis warmly hugged one other at the news before kissing again.
Before the big reveal, Travis turned to Kourtney and said: ‘Tell me when you’re ready.’
He then asked the pyrotechnics man whether everything was set for a smooth transition.
‘I don’t know what’s happening! What you guys planned,’ said Kourtney, looking a little unsure of what was happening.
Travis reassured her sweetly, explaining the plan as her mum Kris Jenner could be heard shouting: ‘Let’s get the party started, we’re all excited!’
The child will be Kourtney’s fourth, following Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, whom she has with ex Scott Disick.
Travis has four children, including his biological children Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, as well as his stepdaughter from a prior relationship, Atiana, 24.
While Kourtney is in full mother mode, preparing for their new baby boy, people are curious about her connection with sister Kim.
On The Kardashians, the sisters have been embroiled in a feud over the designer label Dolce & Gabbana, which donated Kourtney’s wedding gown.
Kim talks about being’mindful’ in her partnership with the business in the most recent episodes and claims to have avoided any ensembles worn during the Kravis wedding.
While yelling to her younger sister Khloe, she delivered a devastating blow to her sister, claiming that Kourtney “doesn’t have any friends.”
Khloe looks to be remaining neutral, commenting with a succession of blue hearts on Kourtney’s most recent baby announcement.
Kim does not appear to have publicly commented on the gender reveal, although she did recently upload photos of herself and Kourtney during North’s birthday celebration.
