Laura Anderson is claimed to be “very upset” because her ex-partner Gary Lucy published the gender of their child “without her consent.”
The former couple revealed earlier this year that they were expecting their first child together before announcing their divorce shortly after.
Following the separation, the pair’s relationship has been tumultuous, with former Love Island actress Laura, 33, claiming she and the Hollyoaks actor, 41, were ‘certainly not’ on good terms.
And things appear to have gotten much worse once Gary announced the couple was expecting a daughter.
‘Gary announced the gender news without getting Laura’s consent,’ a source close to the star told OK!. ‘She’s really upset by this.’
Gary announced the news on Instagram, with a shot of a pink crown and the words ‘daddy’s girl’ written beneath.
It also included a baby ultrasound and the comment, ‘For everyone that’s been asking… let’s hope she inherits her Mummys looks,’ implying that he is friendly with Laura.
Gary also told his followers: ‘Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!’
Lucy recently blasted the ‘bump police’ after being targeted by trolls for stroking her tummy.

The expecting mother has been soaking in the rays in the Maldives, posting a series of lovely Instagram photos of herself cradling her baby belly.
However, she was expecting some trolling, as she began in her caption: ‘Cue the bump police 🙈’
‘To the people that have some weirdly negative connotation with woman cradling their baby bump- I unfortunately will be growing a human inside of me for the next 5months and will more than likely not know where else to put my hands in a photo 😂’ she continued.
