Lauren Harries has regained consciousness after being placed in an induced coma.
The 45-year-old Celebrity Big Brother 2013 contestant had emergency brain surgery earlier this year and has been recovering in hospital.
Lauren’s mother, Katy, said last week that doctors had to place her into an induced coma after she suffered a seizure.
She wrote on social media at the time: ‘Last night Lauren had a seizure and doctors have had to put her into an induced coma to get it under control.
‘Lauren needs all your support and wishes, she loves you all.’
Thankfully, Lauren has now been woken.

She is, nevertheless, in a lot of agony.
Lauren’s mother revealed the newest stumbling block in her rehabilitation in a Twitter update.
‘Lauren was woken after her induced coma, she still has painful seizures which cause her whole body to shake uncontrollably’, she wrote.
‘She is unable to walk and her feet are in pain.’
Lauren’s mother then thanked her admirers with a photo of the kid prodigy sitting up in bed doing arts and crafts.
She also donned a very elegant Louis Vuitton headscarf, after earlier stating that losing her curly hair during the original procedure was her “worst fear.”
‘The only thing keeping her going at the moment is you, her fans and her painting.’
Lauren’s mum added: ‘Doctors are still unable to diagnose what’s causing any of this, they are testing different medications to help.
‘Thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts. She loves you all.’
Lauren’s followers were quick to celebrate her improvement, with one replying: ‘Fantastic news Lauren! Prayers and love to you. Keep on painting!! Xxxx’
Another added some words of encouragement: ‘Lauren! Keep going you can do this…. One day this fight will be a distant memory and you’ll understand the pride we have in you xx take each day as it comes x’
Lauren, who gained to reputation as a kid antiques expert, has been posting updates on her treatment online.
Her mother also said that she was ‘terrified’ to see her daughter following her surgery.
Posting a video, Katy, 80, wrote: ‘One of the scariest moments of a mother’s life, witnessing their kid hurting.
‘All I wanted to do was swap places with Lauren.’
She explained: ‘This is just after her brain surgery, even then we had no idea if we’d ever get our Lauren back again.
‘Seeing her like this was terrifying. She has been so brave and I am so proud of her for all she’s been through.’
Lauren has had a difficult time since her first procedure.
She has had inexplicable seizures, as well as ‘chronic migraines’ and severely injured arms and hands.
The media star then ‘almost died’ after contracting illnesses and being placed in critical care.
