Robbie Williams turned 50 today, and the famed hitmaker is celebrating with wife Ayda Field.
Cheeky as ever, he stuck his tongue out for a photo with Ayda, 44, as they had a night out ahead of the milestone birthday, weeks after he damaged a road sign.
‘I’m very content and I’m very grateful,’ Robbie wrote in a sprawling caption about his big day, in which he referenced his rather wild past.
‘For me, it’s hard to get excited about ‘’Your special day’’ Because life has been so kind to me and to be honest, every day that I experience -in its own way- is f**king epic,’ the former Take That star added.
And epic it has been, as Robbie was no stranger to partying and living life to the fullest in his youth, but he has now settled down to be a father to four children.
While the Supreme hitmaker has had lots of incredible anecdotes from his time in the spotlight, like clucking like a chicken in a jacuzzi, one cheeky yarn is arguably the most insane we’ve ever heard.
In 2016, he came on Graham Norton’s giant sofa for a talk, and the presenter asked: ‘What’s the craziest thing a fan has given you?’
‘Herpes’ was the brief, sweet, and brutally honest response that left Graham Norton Show fans completely stunned.
Fellow visitor Anna Kendrick looked perplexed, while Justin Timberlake screamed with amusement and Daniel Radcliffe told him he didn’t have to relate the entire story.
Graham strongly disagreed, and in classic Robbie manner, the singer went on to overshare specifics of their meeting – even though he admitted he shouldn’t be revealing it on public television.
‘Back in the day, I was renting a castle to rehearse in. I was in this room and I woke up and I was awake but hadn’t opened my eyes,’ he began.
‘I was getting confused because there was someone tidying my room. And there was a lady at the bottom of my bed holding a feather duster.’
His conversation with this intruder took a turn when she boldly asked him: ‘Have you got morning glory?’
Robbie continued: ‘I said, “Yeah I have”, so then she said, “I’ll w*** you off.”
‘I thought, I’m young, I can close my eyes and pretend it’s someone else. So I was like “Go on then.”‘
Surprisingly, when Robbie contacted with the castle owner, they disclosed there had not been a cleaning in that day, implying his new acquaintance had actually broken in.
‘So someone walked in off the street with a duster, gave me a hand job and left!’ Robbie told a shocked audience.
He, of course, eventually informed his bandmates about the incident, which had occurred long before he met Ayda, only to discover that they knew exactly who had done it.
His bassist told him: ‘I know who that was, that was Maureen from the pub. She said she’d done it and no one believed her!‘
