Louise Thompson posted some bikini photos on social media, revealing that she will gladly wear anything with her stoma bag.
The 34-year-old former Made in Chelsea star showed her stoma bag earlier this month to her 1.4 million Instagram followers, confirming her struggle with ulcerative colitis.
In a new social media post, the celebrity said that she has now found confidence in her stoma bag and will no longer limit her wardrobe.
The star shared a video of herself in a bright blue swimming costume with three white buttons, saying that she’d wear anything with ‘the bum bag’.
The caption of the post from Louise read: ‘Things I won’t wear with my bum bag :NOTHING.’
‘I have to say I’m pretty amazed by how incognito my stoma bag is in my cosi’s ! Might be a different story by the end of the day but for now this is SERVING.’
The reality TV star has had a number of health challenges in recent years and has been commended for being so candid about her struggles.
She first revealed her lupus diagnosis two years ago, and a year prior, she nearly died while giving birth to her and husband Ryan Libbey’s son Leo.
Fans have been kept up to speed on Louise’s health experience in recent weeks, as she explained why she was in and out of the hospital at the start of the year and utilised her platform to describe what her life is like today with her stoma bag.
Louise said that she is naming her new addition (which permits her waste to escape her body through a stoma in her belly rather than her intestine) ‘Winnie’ in a tongue-in-cheek homage to Winnie the Pooh. She stated that she is open to ideas, although the name was originally a prospective baby name for her partner Ryan.
‘What are we thinking about the name Winnie? And more importantly have you got it? I think it’s priceless. Clue : 🍯 , but open to suggestions.
‘Was on our og baby name list, but this will do for now.’
