Love Island star Luca Bish revealed that his holiday to Switzerland was ‘cut short’ after his family home was robbed.
The fishmonger – who starred in this year’s season of the hit dating show – posted a series of pictures on Instagram from his recent trip but shared that his family are living in fear following the ordeal.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: ‘Thank you to all of you that asked how Switzerland was – it was lovely, much needed quality family time which we haven’t done in years.
‘With that being said, sadly the holiday was cut short.
‘Going into the public eye comes with so many positives, and I want to be able to share my day to day without the fear or assumption that there are people watching with ill intentions.’
He continued: ‘Last night, my family home was broken into. Materialistic things can be replaced, however, my family fearing being in our home and knowing you’ve been violated in such a way is a feeling you can never describe.

‘Fortunately we have high security throughout the home, so everything is now with the police.
‘Be careful this time of the year and keep safe.’
Luca’s trip followed his split from Gemma Owen.

The couple called it quits three months after leaving the villa, having finished the competition as runners-up behind Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 28, and Davide Sanclimenti, 27.
When Gemma shared on social media that she and Luca had gone separate ways, she wrote in a statement: ‘It wasn’t an easy decision but this ultimately is what is best for us both right now.’
Luca added in his own statement: ‘I would have liked some time to process this privately but as you all now know sadly Gemma and I made the mutual decision earlier today to go our separate ways.
‘We have been on such a journey together and have made some amazing memories which I will treasure.
