Love Island‘s Andrew Le Page has demonstrated his sincere devotion to his girlfriend Tasha Ghouri by presenting her with a breathtaking promise ring. The two have been together for quite some time.
This past summer, the couple fell in love while competing on a dating programme on ITV. They made it all the way to the final, where they came in fourth place overall but won the hearts of millions of viewers with their adorable relationship.
Their connection has only grown stronger ever since they left the villa, and the estate agent, who is 27, and the dancer, who is 23, have already moved in together.
They also celebrated their first Christmas together, during which the model Tasha opened a quite thrilling turquoise package from Tiffany. This was the couple’s first holiday together.
The influencer, who has been offered a plethora of brand partnerships since the conclusion of the show, revealed that she initially mistook the ring for an engagement ring while she was documenting the event for her YouTube channel.
‘Andrew got me a gorgeous promise ring,’ she began, showing the silver ring to the camera in all its glory.

‘I love it so much. It’s so simple and I love silver. I did not expect that all and I started crying,’ she shared.
‘When I first saw the box I was like, [gasps] because that is an engagement box! When I opened it, I didn’t know what to say.
‘No one’s ever done that for me before and now I can wear that on my finger and I love something meaningful like that and something special that’s linked to Andrew, that’s why I really love it.’
‘She’s not gonna wear it, she wants to keep it in the box,’ Andrew joked.
‘But, promise rings you wear on, the thingy finger… I’m gonna Google it but we’ll figure out which finger to put it on,’ Tasha added, before clarifying they’re not tying the knot just yet.
‘This means we’re not engaged, ok? If you see me wearing it on my ring finger, it’s a promise ring!’
But then Andrew joined in to suggest that it “won’t be long” until he does get down on one knee, so it’s possible that we’ll hear wedding bells in the year 2023.
Tasha continued to rave about how she ‘did not expect’ the thoughtful gift ‘at all’ and explained how she was ‘genuinely astonished’ after seeing the immediately recognisable jewellery box.
In point of fact, the duo aren’t the first Love Island contestants of 2022 to acquire promise rings; the champions of the show, Ekin-Su Cülcülolu and Davide Sanclimenti, have only lately fuelled engagement rumours with their marriage proposal.
Davide surprised her with a Cartier promise ring and posted a beautiful video to Instagram. However, admirers were quick to inquire if they needed to buy a hat and Davide had to laugh it off.
Unfortunately, it does not appear that the extremely busy and booked Ekin or the Italian stallion Davide will be walking down the aisle any time soon. However, with all these promise rings flying around, who knows when our next Love Island wedding will be?
