Former The Only Way is Essex star Lucy Mecklenburgh took to her Instagram to share that her son Roman is recovering well after taking him to hospital.
The reality star, 30, shared a picture of Roman by his hospital bed as she shared an update on her two-year-old little boy, who she shares with Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas.
‘He’s fine he just sometimes needs some help fighting viruses,’ she explained. ‘Nebuliser, oxygen, steroids, antibiotics. Bless him wish I’d kept him off preschool and got him to the sunshine sooner.’
This isn’t the first time the couple has had a health scare involving their son.
In September last year, they revealed their baby boy, then 18 months, spent a few days in intensive care after the former Towie star found him turning ‘blue’ in his cot.
Speaking about going through ‘every parent’s worst nightmare’, she explained that he was put on a ventilator while receiving treatment by professionals.
‘Just over a week ago I found Roman blue in his cot – probably every parent’s worst nightmare,’ she wrote at the time.
‘Without going into too much detail it ended up with Roman being transferred to St Mary’s London intensive care being put on a ventilator,’ she explained.
After a tough week in hospital, Roman was back home with mum and dad.
And back in March, she revealed that doctors had discovered that fluid had been entering Roman’s lungs whenever he had a drink.
Then in July, she revealed Roman had a diagnosis and that he had to take medication and his inhaler to keep him healthy.
Now, however, after being rushed to hospital last night, this time with a virus, the tot is on the mend again.
Lucy and Ryan have been together since 2017 and shared news of their engagement two years later.
They welcomed their second child together, daughter Lilah Rae back in May with Ryan, 37, already dad to daughter Scarlett, who he shares with ex Tina O’Brien.
Their daughter also had a hospital scare in August but has since made a full recovery.
