Fans have flocked to Mark Wright and his wife Michelle Keegan’s decor Instagram.
The couple’s social media profile, Wrighty Home, has over 500,000 followers, and they go crazy for glances into the stars’ vast Essex property, which has been meticulously built by Mark and Michelle.
It should come as no surprise that the house is extremely lovely, and we couldn’t wait to learn more about Mark, 36, and his flair for interior design.
Mark spoke with Metro.co.uk as he prepares to run the London Marathon with his brother Josh, mother Carol, and father Mark senior next month.
The family hopes that by collaborating with Flora, their astounding performance will raise awareness about the easy ways others may improve their lifestyle and nutrition.
Speaking to us this week, the former Towie star said that he has the best attitude when it comes to dealing with internet hate and even revealed who takes the lead on decorating his and Michelle’s house.
Touching upon his passion for property, Mark explained: ‘I’ve been doing property stuff with my dad for years now. Property is a massive part of my life. I’m doing an apartment in Mallorca right now.’
He went on: ‘We built a house and documented it and people took a liking. They seem to follow along and enjoy it.’
Unfortunately for Mark, even simple topics like decor attract trolls and harsh comments.
How does the celebrity handle negative internet comments?
‘I’ve never been one to be bothered about negative comments,’ he said with reassurance.
‘Everyone’s got different tastes. You go to one person’s house and they’ve got purple walls. The next person’s got blue walls.’
Mark continued: ‘You might get people saying, “Oh, I don’t like that”, but the next person will say they love it. As long as we love it, that’s all that matters.’
And who is in charge of the interiors, him or Michelle?
‘It’s a bit of both. We both love our interiors [and] we’ve both got the same taste.’
That’s the way to do it.
