Mark Wright detailed his terrible home renovations and how his dreams to create a dream house in Majorca were derailed after he was forced to fire the contractors.
The reality star, 36, revealed he had to do the work himself after the property’s contractors failed to fulfil his standards.
He acquired the big property on the tourist island last year with strong hopes that it will be totally repaired soon.
After the mishap with the previous workers, the TOWIE star decided to travel to the sunny site with his own team of pros to finish the project.
Mark admitted that he had left his wife, Michelle Keegan, at home while driving to the island with a vehicle full of tools.
The famous face shared: ‘I bought an apartment just over a year ago, and left it in the hands of some builders that I didn’t know, it wasn’t that I wasn’t happy with the look, there was just lots of problems that were created, they tried to cut corners.
‘So then I spoke to another company and the price wasn’t matching up with what I had in mind, and I just thought, DIY, got to sort it myself.
‘So I’ve flown all my builders over and drove all their tools over’.
He was visiting Heart FM’s Amanda Holden when he spilled the news. She responded that he should’ve called on her help and that of her co-star Alan Carr – the duo have their own show during which they do up properties across Italy.

He posted a video on Instagram that offered followers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the reality of him and his pals driving to Majorca.
After getting on the ferry to Spain, the group indulged in local cuisines and plenty of beers. They did this before starting work on the holiday home, which was ready and waiting.
Mark captioned the upload: ‘30 hour drive to Mallorca, and 2.5 weeks to completely refurb an apartment, that was left to be done last year and turned in to building nightmares.
‘As they say, if you want it done Wright, then DIY! [sic]’.
