Maya Jama is attempting to deceive all of us into thinking that she is a “crust” by addressing her glamorous Instagram images in that manner.
A warning has been posted on the presenter’s social media accounts for those who are following her there, as she is getting ready to host the next season of Love Island, which will air throughout the winter.
The host, who is 28 years old, claims that one should evaluate a user based on the content of their Stories rather than their main feed.
She said in a video on Wednesday: ‘I feel like my Instagram doesn’t reflect me unless you watch my Stories.
‘My main feed is super glam and [poses] when actually I’m a crust nine times out of 10 if I don’t have my hair and makeup team.’
Maya, who was engaged to basketballer Ben Simmons last year, added a bit of a resolution for 2023: ‘Maybe this year I’ll start posting more of that side. I thought, if I looked on my page and I didn’t know me I’d think…posey t**t, but actually…’
For those playing at home, last week Maya shared a stunning bikini pic, captioning the shot: ‘Y’all won.’

It’s the vibe we’re all about and we say, Maya, you be that ‘posey t**t’ if you want to be!
The star then proceeded to ask her followers for advice on how she should style her hair for the first episode of Love Island. The ninth season of the show is about to introduce a new group of Islanders hoping to not only find a connection but potentially win the £50,000 prize. The star then went on to ask her followers for advice on how she should style her hair for the first episode.
This week saw the publication of the first look teaser, which featured new presenter Maya. The trailer promises that there is a lot in store for audiences in South Africa, where the show is based.

ITV has dropped hints that it’s almost time to get immersed in another season of the show, which promises to feature a lot of highs and lows despite the fact that we do not yet know who the new competitors will be on the show.
Maya, who is now the host of the show after Laura Whitmore stepped down, is shown riding a velvet and jewelled bucking bronco in the promotional video, where she tells viewers, “It’s time to grasp love by the horns.” I am ready, are you?’
ITV remarked on Twitter that it was “about to get hotter up in 2023” as they shared the trailer for the show.
Maya released the following comment when she made the happy announcement of her new role at the time: “I’ve always been such a massive Love Island fan, and I’m so excited to be presenting one of the nation’s favourite programmes!” I can’t wait to get into the Villa and meet everyone on the Island because I just can’t contain my excitement.
