Maya Jama and Stormzy have gone Instagram official, and the reaction from fans has been nothing short of stunning.
The 29-year-old Love Island presenter hosted the Fashion Awards on Monday night and headed to Instagram the next day to share some behind-the-scenes images, one of which included her and her 30-year-old partner.
Stormzy, actual name Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, was seen clutching Maya’s hand and staring passionately into her eyes in the photo.
The loving photograph appeared at the very end of Maya’s new Instagram carousel, which she used to label her hosting role another ‘pinch me’ moment, and the star’s followers couldn’t stop crying when they saw it.
One person wrote: ‘The last pic though. That man is never letting you go again!’
Another added: ‘The last slide! We prayed for this,’ while someone else said, ‘We all reallyyyy love the last pic.’
‘Last slide is what we’ve been waiting for,’ echoed another fan.
Maya and Stormzy reconnected this summer after divorcing in 2019.
The award-winning musician acknowledged their restored romance for the first time last month.
He said that they are attempting to keep things under wraps this time, after being more ‘public’ in the past.
‘We were so public the first time round. Somewhere down the line, my spirit started resisting,’ Stormzy told the December issue of Vogue, adding: ‘So I’m not gonna speak on it.’
He did, however, mention their loved-up summer vacation in Greece and the photos from the trip, saying they were ‘just living la vida loca’.
He said: ‘Lapse of judgement for an hour!’
Stormzy, whose mother is claimed to have urged him to win Maya back, may even drop down on one knee this time.
‘Stormzy knows how lucky he is to have got her back, and he’s determined not to lose her again,’ spilled an insider to The Sun.
They added: ‘He wants to make her his wifey for lifey. He’s telling his mates this is it for him now, he’s found the one.’
