Megan McKenna sent an update with her fans on her latest mishap, including photos of the scars left on her face after being sprayed with scalding hot gravy.
The 30-year-old ex-Towie singer resorted to social media to show off the damage done to one side of her face when a jug of the sauce was unintentionally dumped on her.
She stated that she was severely burnt after her mother Tanya stumbled over the dog while holding a gravy boat, causing the liquid to fall on her head.
The former reality star highlighted the healing process and informed Instagram to the outcomes of the accident by posting a photo with her footballer boyfriend on Sunday.
The singer’s right side of her face was still smeared with markings, and the sauce had also injured her ear.
The actress grinned in the photo while her companion and soon-to-be husband dropped a kiss on the opposite side of her head.
Later that day, Megan said that she was making a roast dinner for her boyfriend and had recorded herself doing it.
Last week, the TV actress posted a video outlining what occurred and showing her viewers a large blister behind her ear.
In the clip, Megan could be heard saying: ‘Before you freak, I’ve had a bit of an accident as you can see.
‘On the weekend, I was at my mum’s and we were having dinner and she walked over with the gravy pot.
‘Daisy (the dog) got underneath her feet, she tripped over Daisy, grabbed the gravy pot but the gravy inside flopped out and landed on my head
‘Honestly, you can’t even write it. It’s obviously caught the side of my face.
‘It looks so much better now, it’s in the healing process, so it’s a little bit rank. It’s on my nose. I’ve got a huge blister behind my ear. My ear feels like it’s hanging off.’
She went on to say that her mother leaped into action and knew just what to do, guiding her daughter directly to the washbasin.
Megan admitted: ‘If that hadn’t happened, I don’t know what it would have looked like.
‘Thank god we were right near a sink and she knew what she was doing. It was a couple of hours of stress.’
