Miley Cyrus’ parents are now engaged to new partners, after Tish’s announcement that she will marry her Prison Break star boyfriend Dominic Purcell.
On Saturday, the 55-year-old announced her engagement to the singer, 53, with an endearing Instagram photo that showed off her diamond ring.
The pair grinned and seemed overjoyed as they stood for the camera, wrapping their arms around one other.
Tish shared a loving photo with her Instagram followers, along with a close-up of her beautiful diamond ring, with the caption: ‘A thousand times…. YES @dominicpurcell [sic]’.
Following her happy announcement, fans flocked to the comment section to wish the famous mother congratulations and well-wishes.
One penned: ‘Ahhhhh congratulations Tish Cyrus. This honestly just made me SO happy. You’ve lived for everyone for so long, and I’m so happy to see you living for yourself!!! You deserve all the happiness in the world love you! X [sic].’
Another said: ‘Omggg yesss queen you deserve all tha happiness in the world, I’m so happy for you [sic].’
‘I can’t wait to get drunk on expensive champagne at your wedding. Happy engagement you two [sic],’ a friend of the star noted online.
Her post came after the actor paid respect to Tish on his own Instagram page prior to his proposal.
Posting a picture of the pair snuggled into each other, he typed the caption: ‘Punching way above my weight -yep absolutely , I’m a lucky b*****d. She’s the best human ever. Love ya love @tishcyrus [sic],’ to which she responded: ‘I love you babe’.
Their engagement announcement follows that of the mother-of-five’s ex-husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, who proposed to 34-year-old vocalist Firerose eight months ago.
Tish and Billy Ray married in 1993 but divorced three times before filing for divorce in 2022.
Tish filed for divorce from the musician, citing irreconcilable differences, and stating that they had not ‘cohabited as man and wife for a continuous period of more than two years,’ according to the records.
Tish and Dominic made their romance public in July, barely three months after her divorce from Miley’s father.
