Millie Bobby Brown went on a tirade over individuals who photograph their meals, stating she has never done so.
However, because this is the internet, everyone was motivated to prove her incorrect.
In a recent interview, the Stranger Things actor claimed it was ‘cringe’ to take a photo of your meal before eating it, and she became truly angry simply talking about it.
‘I do not take pictures of my meal. That is where I draw the line. My camera does not eat first.’
‘I think it’s just ridiculous. Put your phone down. Eat your meal,’ the 19-year-old declared.
She added, in the interview with Glamour: ‘I don’t actually think I even have one picture of a meal, ever … Never have I ever taken a picture of my food or drink. Cringe.’
With such a bold declaration, online sleuths were certain to follow, and it didn’t take long for followers to dig out receipts.
Millie shared a shot of a latte with a heart form in the froth in April 2022 (yep, they went back a year and a half on her Instagram).
The untouched coffee was accompanied by the caption: ‘Love u a latte.’
And, in typical grudging form, hundreds of additional comments have poured in, all with the same word: ‘Cringe.’
Or, as one person reminded her: ‘My camera does not eat first.’
Millie was apprehended by determined investigators after her initial outburst about taking photographs of food and drink enraged some – and amused others.
In one reaction to the clip, a Twitter user wrote: ‘I don’t actually care but her outrage abt this is so funny, i can’t stop watching lmao. she 19! why does she sound like a pensioner (sic).’
Others simply inundated the comments and quotations with photographs of their (appealing) dinners.
As she prepares to marry fiance Jake Bongiovi, 21, son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, Millie has a lot more on her plate (see what we did there?) than dealing with internet haters.
They announced their engagement in April of this year, and she claimed in the same interview with Glamour that accepting to become his wife helped her become a “strong woman.”
‘When I met Jake, I just felt I could be loud.
‘He embraced that and encouraged that. And I fell in love with myself while being with him.’
She added: ‘Those are things that I love about myself now. He was a really big, huge part of me loving myself and becoming a woman.
