Millie Bobby Brown has (sort of) revealed details about her wedding to fiancé Jake Bongiovi, saying that preparations for the big day have begun.
Stranger Things star Millie, 19, and actor and model Jake, 21, confirmed their engagement in April with a photo of themselves showing Millie wearing a massive diamond ring, after initially igniting dating suspicions in 2021.
They subsequently made their red carpet debut as a couple in March 2022 at the Bafta film awards.
Millie revealed a bit about the stage they’re at before getting married in the future in a new interview, but she stressed the importance of keeping things intimate.
‘I can say that the [wedding] planning is going — it’s so fun and it’s such an exciting time in my life,’ she confirmed, talking about her and Jake’s – who is the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi – big day for the first time.
Discussing her approach to it all, the upcoming author continued: ‘I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me.’
‘So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest,’ she told WWD.
Despite keeping her and Jake’s wedding plans under wraps, the young couple shares charming glimpses into their lives together on social media.
Jake posted a photo of himself and Millie on Instagram in early August, with him lovingly staring into Millie’s eyes as she reached up with her hands around his neck – and the photo came with top-tier celebrity credentials, having been snapped by none other than Millie’s Stranger Things co-star and friend, Noah Schnapp.

The 18-year-old was among the first to congratulate the couple on their engagement before making his own big announcement: coming out as homosexual.
Millie recently reciprocated the affection with a mirror picture of herself and Jake suited up for a night out together.
‘I stan jake bongiovi,’ she wrote in the simple caption.

Jake’s renowned father Jon expressed his happiness for the couple after throwing a secret family party to honour their new relationship status.
Jon argued: ‘I don’t know if age matters. If you find the right partner and you grow together… my advice really is growing together. [That’s] wise.
‘I think all of my kids have found the people they think they can grow together with and we like ‘em all.’
