Millie Bobby Brown seemed to be getting into the wedding mood.
Millie Bobby Brown, 19, and her fiancee Jake Bongiovi, 21, whose father is Jon Bon Jovi, announced their engagement in April.
Millie has now published a photo of herself in a wedding white bikini while promoting her new book, Nineteen Steps.
Millie can be seen relaxing on a sun lounger in a clean white bikini, reading her debut novel, in a photo posted to social media.
The tale is based on genuine events from her family’s time in London during WWII.
Alongside the snap, the Enola Holmes star wrote: ‘my summer read ✨📖🤍☀️.’ [sic]
Fiancé Jake liked the photo and commented with two love heart emoji. Awrh.
When Millie and Jake announced their engagement in April, some blasted them for being ‘too young’ to marry, but fellow Stranger Things actors like Noah Schnapp rallied to Millie’s side.
The happy pair appeared to be in love during a private engagement party last month.
Even Jake’s superstar father, Jon Bon Jovi, who was recently sighted at Bruce Springsteen’s Hyde Park performance, gave his blessing to the wedding.
Speaking to Andy Cohen last month on the radio host’s SiriusXM show, Andy asked him: ‘When your almost-21-year-old says, “I’m getting engaged,” do you worry for them that they’re too young? Do you worry as a dad about how old or how young they are?’
Jon replied: ‘I don’t know if age matters. If you find the right partner and you grow together… my advice really is growing together. [That’s] wise.
‘I think all of my kids have found the people they think they can grow together with and we like ‘em all.’
Jake and Millie met on Instagram and were friends before beginning to date in 2021.
