Kerry Katona advised Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury on baby names and persuaded the Love Island pair to change their daughter’s name.
The 42-year-old former popstar lambasted the couple for naming their child Bambi, calling it a ‘stupid’ decision.
The reality TV couple, both 23, announced the birth of their first child together earlier this week and revealed in an Instagram post that they will name the baby girl after the Disney princess.
Molly-Mae also revealed that her daughter will inherit her boxer boyfriend Tommy’s surname and continue on the Fury heritage.
Kerry, on the other hand, was less than impressed and voiced concern that the ‘poor kid’ would be ridiculed at school because of his questionable name choice.
‘It’s fantastic news, although I must say I’m not a lover of the name,’ the ex-Atomic Kitten member said in her OK! magazine column.
‘I think Bambi Fury sounds a bit ridiculous. It reminds me of the Disney film where the mother gets shot!
‘The poor kid might get some stick in school. If they haven’t registered the name yet, maybe they should consider changing it.’
Molly-Mae revealed her baby’s name with a cute image of a blue neon sign above a crib spelling out the word ‘Bambi,’ which was also the star’s message for the upload.

Bambi is of Italian origin and is purportedly derived from the term ‘bambino’, meaning ‘child’.
‘It’s not made up, it’s definitely not made up, I can’t describe it,’ the PrettyLittleThing creative director stated in a prior YouTube Q&A on what she would call her child.
‘It’s just not a name that’s ever been used before. It’s very very different and rare and you’re either going to love it or hate it.
‘I’ve had the name picked out since I was a baby girl myself. It’s always been a dream baby girl name and luckily when I met Tommy and I told him the name I’ve always dreamt of using, he absolutely loved it too.’
